Cafasso writes, "Catch Me If You Can..." a breathtakingly daring statement when the camera does not lie. "Catch Me If You Can", for those of you who haven't seen it, is a movie from 2003, adapted from the book by Frank Abagnale of the same name. It's a funny, if not hilarious, true story of a young boy, who, in his youth, was a successful imposter in the '60's, then later turned his life around magnificently, using his past transgressions for the good. Abagnale, however, is much different than the Cafasso we've read about in Rutenberg's article at the New York Times (just as I outlined previously that Walter Mitty is different than Cafasso). The main glaring difference being-Cafasso is one nasty, unbalanced, enraged human being. Cafasso lacks the c'est sera sera savior faire and smooth sophisticated skill of the now infamous Frank Abagnale and even moreso the panache and integrity of what Frank Abagnale has done with his life over the last 30 years; helping the FBI and others fight identity theft worldwide. Cafasso is actually someone that makes Abagnale's team gather steam and get excited. Cafasso, still addicted to the Gerry or Jerry Blackwood role, as well as other aliases-follows a predictable pattern to those with the experience to recognize it. The suits, the best in New York, have him on their radar. You see, some don't appreciate much having their names invoked for a game of charades. And so, the evidence seems to be mounting.
But notable among his lies are Cafasso's claims that Jack Idema was ever in bed with Kronzer, Levy, and involved in the Vatican Bank Claims case when in fact, it is Cafasso - NOT IDEMA - who in truth really has direct links with them. Unsavory as it would seem, Cafasso would be the one to emerge as having some direct links to the Serbians and some distasteful human rights violations on the world stage.
According to William Dorch, one of the primary plaintiffs in the Vatican Bank Claims case - well before Cafasso fraudulently represented himself as Lt. Colonel Joseph Cafasso of Special Forces in 2002 at FOX News - Cafasso misrepresented himself as a former Special Forces to Dorch's Serbian lobbying group. Cafasso pretended to be a former Special Forces and head of the insurance lobby, according to Dorch, and together they actually lobbied the US Congress. Dorch and those involved in the Vatican Bank Claims case voiced their support of the late Slobodan Milosevic and Vojislav Seselj, who is now on trial at The Hague for crimes against humanity. But, not to worry - even those Serbs Cafasso lobbied with in 1999 found Cafasso worthy of their disdain. This is yet another pattern; how Cafasso seems to burn bridges behind him wherever he goes.
John Saylor was one of the group. According to David Vuich, another Serb supporter, who knew Cafasso, he later identified Cafasso at a FOX reception at the Embassy of Yugoslavia in Washington, DC.. Vuich and John Saylor contacted the St. Louis military records depository to get Cafasso's military records to examine them. Upon confirming that Cafasso was not who he said he was, they contacted FOX executives. But by that time, Spartan Investigators had already contacted FOX, and the rest is history. Cafasso was fired, and later outed FOX in the NY Times in April 2002, and later Robin Moore outed Cafasso on page 249 of The Hunt for Bin Laden.
By all appearances, Cafasso's psychosis is long and legendary. While Cafasso/Blackwood carries on the lie that Jack Idema was in bed with Kronzer and Levy, the facts tell a different story. It is, in truth, Cafasso who was in bed with Dorch going all the way back to 1999, when the Vatican Bank Claims case was initially filed by Dorch's attorney, Jonathan Levy, and admittedly served by Kronzer to one of the defendants - the Franciscans whose Order runs Medjugorje in Bosnia. Kronzer boasted on an Internet radio show a couple of years ago that he served the Franciscans with their complaint, and then later Kronzer stated that his attorney was contacted by the Milosevic defense team and that he may testify for Milosevic. This never happened, though, because Slobodan Milosevic dropped dead in jail. But not before Levy and Kronzer joined the Vojislav Seselj Defense Team in Belgrade, Yugoslavia on August 27, 2005. Today, Seselj is being prosecuted by Carla del Ponte for crimes against humanity at The Hague.
So if the evidence connects anyone with that here - it is NOT Idema who is linked to any of these people, but Cafasso himself. As a matter of fact, it is Dorch's 1999 article which outed Cafasso as a pretend former Special Forces then in 1999.
Cafasso, you say with such bravado - "Catch Me If You Can. "
It's about time we said "Gottcha!"
In this 1999 article written by Dorch, Check out Page 3, paragraph 3, line 3...............
I went to Washington two weeks ago with a delegation to see if we could at least get the sanctions lifted. There was some hope then, but with the McConnell bill I am fearful that our problems are just beginning. I return to Washington on Monday. I was joined by Admiral Hill and Admiral Moore, Ben Works, Joe Cafasso, a retired Special Forces Officer who heads the Insurance lobby, John Saylor, whose wife is the secretary to the mayor of Belgrade, George Bogdanich, Rev. Bigler of Butte, and Sasha Simic, who works for the State Department as an interpreter.
